Constant head, flow control technique is an innovative concept which is a combination of both continuous water supply system and intermittent water supply system. With this technique we can address most of the problems present in the existing rural water distribution systems. This technique can be used to supply the required quantity of water to all the households in the village 24/7 at a pre identified head of water column.
Our existing rural water distribution system is a very old and inefficient system which is designed 50 years ago it is not changed much since and it is not at all flexible one with a number of problems with a lot of energy wastage and water wastage it is not able to satisfy all people’s requirement and could not ensure 24/7 water supply to each and every households. Recently the number of villages covered under these schemes is increased but the design and the problems remained the same.
With this technique we can address most of the problems present in the existing rural water distribution systems. This technique can be used to supply the desired quantity of water to all the households 24/7 at a pre identified head. We will be converting the existing inefficient water supply system in to highly efficient and reliable system by combining both continuous and intermittent water supply systems as per the Indian rural area requirements.
