More than five million plastic wastes pollute the sea today. As an effect all water species are going down in numbers and water pollution is going uncontrollably high. We created a solution to this without wasting much energy and time.
A water drifting U-Shaped floater slits, will solve this problem if framed
correctly. It only uses natural Wind and waves to propel it. Both the plastic
and system are being carried by the current.
The plastics on the water surface travel at a rate of 17cm/s while the ones
at the deeper layers, move at a rate of 4cm/s. To collect the surface plastics
that move at a faster rate, we make the system to move in a slower rate with
the U-shaped floater slit collecting the plastics. This is made to go slow by the
balanced weight load tied to the terminal ends of the floater slits and kept at
the bottom layer of the sea. Thus enabling the system to capture/trap
Once the plastics are collected, the sensors in the system senses them and
sends signals to the collector ship which will come to the spot and collects the
plastics in the filter.
