Cow dung is an alternative form of energy. On an average cow produce 30kg of feces, many farmers don't utilise it properly. Cow dung contains fibres which are used in fibre industry if sold, the other manure is the source for energy. Our project intention is to extract a fuel with good efficiency, cost effective, deliver more power out of waste products. Using diesel engine is actually an inspiration to our project, due to its high compression ratios and temperature. Fuel is completely burnt in diesel cycle, injecting our fuel directly instead of diesel will generate effective power to run a vehicle. Preheating is actually a simple concept involving heating up of the inlet air at room temperature to certain extent to excite the inlet air with using the exhaust heated air. This concept uses the thermodynamic heat transfer.
Methane is the source of our fuel, methane is produced by anaerobic digestion of cow dung and other wastes. Our project also deals in creating a compact setup for producing methane gas. This has is dissolved in certain solvent to make the fuel come true.
Preheating helps our fuel burn effectively, our fuel takes out carbon dioxide out with traces of water vapour. Moreover our fuel would me much more powerful than other conventional fuels.
