Dish Seasons : We can eat in any season whether in summer’s or winter but according to whether vegetable changes like in winter carrots also become an additional option of this dish.
Ingredients : 1 cup Basmati rice 1 tablespoon garam masala 2 tablespoons of mustard oil 0.5 teaspoons cumin 1 pinch salt 0.5 teaspoons asafoetida 1/2 teaspoons of chilli powder 1/2 teaspoons of tumeric powder 1 unit tomato 1 unit potatoes 1 cup soya chunks 1 small piece of cauliflower 2 to 3 green chilly ( additional)
Method : Soak rice in a bowl for an half an hour. Chop tomato, potato, green chilli, and cauliflower. Heat oil in a cooker and add asafoetida, cumin,( when cumin seed make a sound )after that add red chilli powder and then tumeric powder let it splatter and add tomato and green chilli. Salute it for 5 min then after it add vegetables( potato’s, cauliflower and soya chunks) salute again for 5 min then add the soaked rice. Add water and salt , stir well cover the lid. Cook until the vegetables and rice is cooked through. Take 3 whistles and then turn off the flame . Serve hot with papar, curd , chutney and radish which make it more delicious.
