Emphasis is to skill over 40 crore people in various kinds of multiple skills by 2022 so that they get employment and thus improve entrepreneurship. Some problems faced in existing system :
Chances of the skilled youth not landing up a job due to improper demand tracking/awareness. Possibility of exploitation and mismanagement of employed youth by the employer with no one to adequately help post job. No proper mapping or tracking of a skilled youth with the job allocated to him. Lack of Awareness, Improper demand-supply matching interface/repository even when there is a large demand available.
The key problem faced in this is proper tracking, allocation and employment of the trained/skilled youth in a relevant sector. An avenue/platform is needed where individual departments of ministries have direct access or they can directly seek for skilled people for large demands in various job areas to cater to their requirements.
