Inland wetlands are in a state of great danger across the country. Due to high anthropogenic pressure, the wetlands are polluted and the biodiversity it supports are being affected heavily. Monitoring of the water quality and biodiversity of inland wetland is thus become important for conservation point of view. Information on water quality, available biodiversity and anthropogenic pressure of each inland wetland can be created on a digital platform and the same shall be used for an integrated Inland wetland information system, regionally and nationally which can be very well used by the decision makers, managers and educators.
